CATDOLL: Will the thoughtful work "A Silent Voice" reflecting school bullying be made into an animation when it is finished?

The manga "A Silent Voice", which reflects social issues such as school bullying, will be serialized for the final episode on December 17. It has been officially announced that it will be adapted into an animation just as the last episode is about to be released. I wonder if this manga, which once caused a great uproar in society, will become the second "Flower of Evil" after being adapted into an animation?

"A Silent Voice" (Japanese: 聲の形) is a Japanese shonen manga by Yoshitoki Ohima. This work was selected for the 80th "Weekly Shonen Magazine Newcomer Manga Award", but it was temporarily suspended due to the plot of discrimination against the hearing-impaired. After internal discussions among editors and multiple consultations with the All Japan Deaf Federation, a 45-page first edition was published in "Shonen Magazine Bessatsu" in February 2011, and a 61-page remake was published in "Weekly Shonen Magazine No. 12" released on February 20, 2013. Finally, it began serialization in the combined issue of Weekly Shonen Magazine 36 and 37 in August 2013.

The work mainly tells the story of the heroine Nishimiya Shoko, who is a transfer student and comes to the class of the hero Ishida Masaya. Due to hearing impairment, Nishimiya is discriminated against in the class, and Ishida leads his classmates to bully her.

The staff and voice actors for the animation have not yet been announced, and we will keep an eye on the latest news.
