CATDOLL: Project Itoh adds a new work "The Empire of Corpses" to make a theatrical animation

At the "Noitamina Project" press conference last night, "Project Itoh", which previously announced two works, "Organs of Slaughter" and "Harmony", added a new theatrical version of "The Empire of Corpses" (屍者の帝国). In this way, the trilogy of the Itoh Project is finally together!

The work mainly tells the story of Watson, who aspires to be a military doctor in 19th century London, where the dead are resurrected to serve humanity. He travels around the world under the orders of a mysterious organization and discovers many unknown secrets. The original novel of "Empire of Corpses" won the 33rd Japan Science Fiction Novel Award and the 44th Nebula Award.

At the same time as the news of the theatrical version was announced, the staff of the animation version was also announced. The director is Ryotaro Makihara and the production company is WIT-STUDIO.

In addition, some staff information of the first two works "Organs of Sorrow" and "Harmony" was also announced.
