CATDOLL: Boruto's Next Generations box office exceeds 2 billion yen, breaking the box office record of the Naruto theatrical series

The 11th movie of "Naruto" "Boruto Next Generations" was officially released in Japan on August 7; as of August 25, the box office has exceeded 20 billion yen, or about 107 million yuan, in 19 days. This record broke the box office record of the previous movie of "Naruto" "Naruto: THE LAST" and jumped to the first place in the box office of the "Naruto" series.

"Naruto the Movie: Boruto" was released for 19 days, with a total of 1.56 million viewers and box office revenue of 2.02 billion yen. This result is 145.8% of the previous work "Naruto the Movie: THE LAST" in the same period. It can be seen that this "Naruto New Era Opening Show" starring Uzumaki Naruto's son Boruto has been a huge success. This weekend, August 29 and 30, is the last weekend before the summer vacation, and Japan has a small holiday in mid-September, so the final box office results of "Boruto" should be even higher.

Naruto is a popular manga with a cumulative circulation of over 200 million copies worldwide. After being serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha) for 15 years, it officially ended in 2014. This time, Naruto the Movie: Boruto is produced by the original author Masashi Kishimoto, telling the story of the new generation of protagonist Boruto Uzumaki and his friends. Naruto's son Boruto is played by Yufuko Sanpei, and Sasuke's daughter Sarada is played by Shin Kikuchi.
