Wang Yuebo, nicknamed Wang Sanpi, was born in Beijing in 1978. He has learned storytelling, crosstalk and other folk arts since childhood. He once studied storytelling with Ma Zengkun, crosstalk with Zhao Xiaolin, and Lianzhu Kuaishu with Zhang Xuekai. He is a rapper of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions Art Troupe (formerly the Coal Mine Art Troupe). He is a founding member of Xuannan Bookstore and Chongwen Bookstore. He is the adopted son of Lian Liru and her husband, the first female storyteller. He has broadcast many storytelling works, such as "Liao Zhai", "Sui and Tang Dynasties", "Yongzheng Swordsman", "The Legend of Heroes". On August 7, 2012, Wang Yuebo established his own studio in Beijing.
