CATDOLL: Short Flash animation "BAR The Hated Vegetables" will be aired in April

The project "BAR: Disliked Vegetables" jointly produced by Kadokawa Shoten and Shizuoka TV Asahi will be broadcast on TV in the form of a short flash animation starting in April this year. The camera of this work will focus on the vegetable characters who have troubles such as "they are considered garbage anyway", "wondering whether anyone will eat them", and "being disliked by children". By depicting their communication and reflecting their sadness, the hardships of life in modern life are expressed. The original work of this work comes from the content of the four-frame comics on Twitter and the reading website "ComicWalker".

It is reported that the animation will be supervised by "Mankyuu", who has directed works such as "Mobile Suit Gundam-san" and "Mini Idol Master", and the series composition and character originals will be handled by Narita Kosuke and Kimura Daisuke respectively, while the sound supervision and animation production will be handled by Fujiwara Keiji and "Gathering" respectively. In addition, the music of this work has been invited to "Suzumu", a creator from Shizuoka Prefecture, to participate in the creation, and the theme song will be sung by Maeda Rena, who voiced the Tomato in the play.

In terms of the voice actor lineup, Keiji Fujiwara, who has played roles such as Holland in the animation "Symphonic Psalms" and Mas Hughes in "Fullmetal Alchemist", will voice the role of Eggplant; Kondo Takayuki, who has played roles such as Oishi Shuichiro in the animation "The Prince of Tennis" and Ranzaki Houbi in "The Diary of a Crazy Family", will voice the role of the bar owner. In addition, Makoto Tanaka, Yu Michii and others will also join the work.
