CATDOLL: The tragic endings of Disney princesses in real life!

Artist Jeff Hong was born and raised in Los Angeles, USA, and now lives in New York. Jeff Hong's Unhappily Ever After series of works puts the protagonists of Disney in real life. The incompatibility between fairy tales and reality makes the pictures look very inconsistent, but it gives the viewer a strong visual impact, making them think about the language behind the pictures. As for how he came up with this series of works, Jeff Hong said that he had thought of putting Disney princesses in an urban environment, which is completely opposite to the environment in fairy tales. When he started to study the image, he first placed Mulan in the context of a polluted city in China. The charm of the image language made him quickly realize that putting other Disney characters in such a background has a very important hidden message.

His works have received huge reposts and support in the past period of time. He hopes that this dissemination power is not a flash in the pan, and said that he will continue this series of works. He will continue to try to recreate Disney's main characters in his own way.
