Today, the domestic animation company Fanfan announced that it has obtained the adaptation rights of "Himusuma! Umaru-chan" and "The Prisoner of Gourmet" from Shueisha, and will launch live-action adaptations in 2017. Fanfan plans to cooperate with leading industry partners such as NetEase, Youku, Li Euro Power, Caesar Holdings, Beidou Penguin, and Haitian Films on new original comic IP projects. However, domestic anime fans expressed their concerns after hearing the news, because everyone knows that a large part of the reason why Umaru-chan became so popular is due to its Q-version image, and given the precedent of domestic adaptations of live-action dramas, it is estimated that the adaptation of "Umaru-chan: Hirame no Komaru" will definitely be ruined. |
