Ise Mariya: Although I was a little nervous at the beginning, the whole process was really fun! Ise Mariya: I have experienced many interviews of this type in the past, and I think that "using one's own voice" is more impactful than using words. Therefore, I constantly think about the meaning of every word I say during the show, hoping to convey the "real me" to everyone.

I really like the character of Killua!

Host: When we were recording, we talked about the character Killua in Hunter x Hunter. You said he was like your "first love" and left a deep impression on us. So what do you like about him?

Ise Mariya: At first, I was attracted by his appearance and the dark side he carried, and I couldn't help wanting to protect him. However, after actually playing the role, my impression of him changed dramatically.

Host: Has the impression changed?

Mariya Ise: After playing him, I noticed that Killua doesn't think the "darkness" around him is "darkness" at all. Rather, he cares a lot about his friends and even has a selfless dedication to him, which makes me want to say to him, "Live more for yourself!" (laughs). Killua has been fighting for Gon and to escape the family curse, but these battles are never for himself! In the end, I hope he can live a little easier after meeting Alluka...

Ise Mariya: I like him very much! But now I always feel like I’m talking to myself, so I can’t honestly say “I like him” (laughs).

Mariya Ise: As for animation, I think all of Kon Satoshi's works are great. "Tokyo Godfathers", "Dream Detective", "Millennium Actress", "Perfect Blue", etc. I like Kon Satoshi's works unconditionally.

Ise Mariya: Of course, it was a relay answer from Mr. Namikawa who appeared in the previous show! It was "Ms. Ise, your eyes are big, how do you deal with sand when it gets into your eyes?" (laughs). It was so new that I didn't know how to answer it!

I want to live with nature one day!

Ise Mariya: Hmm... can you tell me something amazing?

Ise Mariya: I get up when the sun rises, and eat breakfast while gazing at the rising sun. Then I swim in the sea and sunbathe at noon, watch the sunset in the afternoon, and eat barbecue together at night while looking at the stars, and fall asleep while feeling the natural air... I want to live this kind of life!

Host: And the next day I woke up in the morning sun (laughs)

Ise Mariya: That’s right! That’s right! I also want to go fishing, skydiving, etc. In short, I just want to live a leisurely life with nature (laughs).

Ise Mariya: I love the sea and the sky! I have actually experienced deep-sea diving. There was a very interesting episode at that time...

Ise Mariya: During the diving process, I had to jump into the sea, but after I jumped in, the diving instructor kept pointing at me and shouting at me. "What's going on?" Just when I was wondering, I looked at my body... My bikini fell off (laughs).
