Former AKB48 member Atsuko Maeda will play the heroine Kyoko in the Japanese drama "The Frog" which will be aired in July. After not appearing in a TV series for 6 consecutive years, he will play the protagonist Hiroshi in the live-action TV series adapted from the Japanese national manga "Dogensei Gaeru". "Root Frog" is a popular manga in the 1970s of the Showa era. It tells the story of a male protagonist who accidentally squashes a frog, but the frog runs onto his T-shirt and the two become partners. It will be broadcast every Saturday at 9 pm in July.
