CATDOLL: Osamu Tezuka's classic work Astro Boy, a new series "Astro Boy THE BEGINNING" begins serialization

In the January issue of the magazine "Monthly HEROES" published on December 1, we were surprised to find that the new chapter of "Astro Boy THE BEGINNING", the immortal masterpiece "Astro Boy" by Osamu Tezuka, which has been loved by children since the last century, has begun to be serialized! The author is Mr. Kasa Hara Tetsuro, who has created dark horse works such as "Piggyback Girl". Astro Boy has been resurrected again in the 21st century!

As the name suggests, the new chapter depicts a prequel story, describing how Astro Boy was born in the near future Japan where a major disaster of unknown cause suddenly occurred. The first episode of the new chapter features Professor Tenma and Professor Chasui, who are still university students and work day and night to make robots, and describes their struggle.

In addition, as a commemoration of the new series, a booklet titled "The Birth of Astro Boy" will be given with the magazine. It includes a meeting between the new chapter author Kasahara Tetsuro, the setting author Yuukimasami, and the supervisor Makoto Tezuka.
