CATDOLL: A talk with the voice actor of "My Name is Sakamoto and I'm the Coolest" Hikaru Midorikawa and the director Shinji Takamatsu

At the pre-screening of the new anime "My Name is Sakamoto, I'm the Coolest" in April 2016, Sakamoto's voice actor Hikaru Midorikawa and director Shinji Takamatsu held a discussion about the work. Midorikawa said: "I feel relieved."

The first episode was screened at the event. Judging from the audience's response, it was indeed a work that made people laugh non-stop. Afterwards, Midorikawa greeted everyone in Sakamoto's style, which also aroused applause from fans. Seeing everyone's dedication, Midorikawa said, "I can rest assured."

Then, Director Takamatsu revealed: "Originally, I wrote in the lines, "greeting in a cool manner" and "making a cool appearance", but I think it's impossible to do!" Of course, this is the director's usual prank, and the actual work did not disappoint.

When talking about the characters worth paying attention to, Midorikawa mentioned Yuya Sera, voiced by Shotaro Morikubo, and that as the plot progresses, this character will also have a fixed pose. Director Takamatsu added: "When I came to my senses, it became this pose..."

Finally, Midorikawa said: "The recording has been completed. During the whole process, the voice actors have gradually gotten used to the environment. Since the first episode has made everyone laugh so much, what will happen in the future? Please watch to the end."
