Not long ago, the Ministry of Culture cracked down on violent and terrorist animations on the Internet, and a large number of animations were removed from the shelves. Today, the Ministry of Culture finally responded for the first time regarding the removed animations. This time, the official announced that a total of 38 animations, including "Attack on Titan", were removed from the shelves due to violations.

The Ministry of Culture announced that a number of online animations, including Tokyo Ghoul Season 2 and Attack on Titan, were included in the "blacklist" due to violations. LeTV, iQiyi, Sohu, Youku, Tencent, Baidu and other 29 websites were given warnings, fines and other penalties for providing online animations that contained content that induced minors to commit crimes and exaggerated violence and pornography. Manga Island and other 8 websites were shut down.

According to a follow-up report by CCTV News, Beijing Tiantian Kuangguang, LeTV, Fengxing Online, Baofeng Technology, Lingfei Tianxia, ​​Heyi Information, iQiyi, Sohu, Kuliu, Baidu Netcom, Shanghai Quantudou Network, Taomi Network, Danmu Network, Juli Media, Kuanyu Digital, Hangzhou Popcorn, Wasu Media, Ruian I Love Network, Wuhan Zhongying Network, Shenzhen Xunlei, Tencent, Guangzhou Qianjun Network, Aipai Network and other units violated the "Internet Audiovisual Program Service Management Regulations" or the "Internet Culture Management Interim Regulations" and provided online animation products with illegal content. At present, the local comprehensive law enforcement agency for the cultural market has ordered the above-mentioned units to stop providing them and has given them administrative penalties such as warnings and fines in accordance with the law.

Eight websites, including "Manga Island" and "Sasa Animation Network", provided Internet audio-visual program services and online animation products containing illegal content without permission. They are currently being banned by the local cultural market comprehensive law enforcement agencies in accordance with the law, and the communications management departments have been requested to close the websites.
