CATDOLL: The first stage play of Rurouni Kenshin will be performed at the Takarazuka Theater in February 2016

Rurouni Kenshin has gained great popularity since it was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump in April 1994, and has been adapted into a TV animation, OVA, and a live-action movie. This is the first stage musical, performed by the Takarazuka Theater Company's Snow Group.

The classic manga "Rurouni Kenshin" created by Nobuhiro Watsuki has been decided to be adapted into a stage play by the national treasure-level performance team Takarazuka Revue Snow Group. The stage play will be performed at the Hyogo Takarazuka Theater on February 5, 2016, and at the Tokyo Takarazuka Theater on April 1. Takarazuka Revue Snow Group members Hayagiri Seina and Sakiki Miyu will star in the stage play version of "Rurouni Kenshin". The script and performance will be given to the famous performance artist Shuichiro Koike.
