CATDOLL: July's new anime "Ushio to Tora" OP song cover and trailer released

The TV animation version of Fujita Kazuhiro's classic manga "Ushio to Tora" will be broadcast on TOKYO MX starting July 3. The opening song "Mixed Danger" (original name: 混ぜるな害険) sung by Kinniku Shoujo Odai will be released on August 5, and now the cover image and promotional video of the regular edition have been revealed.

The cover of the regular edition of "Mixed Danger" was drawn by the original author Fujita Kazuhiro. The front shows a bizarre scene of the four members of the Kinniku Girls being bitten by the big monster Ahu. The back shows the protagonist Aotsuki Ushio playing the guitar like a rock star with a beast spear in his arms, and Ahu is singing passionately behind him.

The TV animation version of "Ushio to Tora" has been aired since July 3. The director is Satoshi Nishimura, who has directed "Gun God", the script is written by Toshiki Inoue, who has written the "Death Note" and "Kamen Rider" series, and the character design is by Tomoko Mori. The animation production will be a collaboration between MAPPA, which has produced "Rage of Bahamut", and studio VOLN.

The original manga of "Ushio to Tora" was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Sunday" from 1990 to 1996. The single volume has been published in 33 volumes and has been completed, with cumulative sales exceeding 30 million copies.
