In order to publicize the great historical significance of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression through film and television works and publications, publicize the great national spirit with patriotism as the core, reflect the arduous journey of the Chinese people in achieving victory in the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, highlight the role of the Communist Party of China as the mainstay of the whole nation's war of resistance, highlight the role of the Chinese Anti-Japanese battlefield as the main battlefield in the East of the World Anti-Fascist War, inspire the national spirit, stimulate patriotic enthusiasm, and create a good public opinion atmosphere for the commemoration activities, the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television has identified a number of key film and television works and publications, and has increased follow-up guidance and support. The creation and production of these works are progressing smoothly.

First, about the movie

Ten key films have been identified. Filming of "The Hundred Regiments Offensive", "Base Area", "Ballet in the Flames of War", "Luring the Wolf" and "Cairo Declaration" have been completed. In terms of screenings, first, from September 1 to 10, the "Excellent Domestic New Film Screening to Commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the Victory of the War of Resistance Against Japan" will be held in mainstream cinemas across the country; second, from July 1 to October 31, excellent domestic films on the theme of the War of Resistance Against Japan will be widely screened in rural areas, urban communities and campuses across the country; third, from late August to early September, various film channels will hold a series of excellent domestic film screenings.

Second, about TV series

12 key TV series have been identified. "Eastern Battlefield" will be broadcast during the commemorative activities. "Northeast Anti-Japanese Allied Forces" has been broadcast on CCTV's comprehensive channel during prime time since July 4. "The Great Wave", "The Roaring Yellow River", "Ji Hongchang" and others will also be broadcast one after another. The General Administration will also conduct broadcast control and require TV stations at all levels to make preparations for the broadcast of excellent anti-Japanese war dramas in advance. Anti-Japanese war-themed TV series will be broadcast at three levels: first, a group of newly filmed and produced key works reflecting the history of the Anti-Japanese War, such as "Eastern Battlefield" and "Northeast Anti-Japanese Allied Forces"; second, excellent works that cut into specific characters, specific events, and specific perspectives; third, a group of classic anti-Japanese war dramas that have already been broadcast will be re-broadcast.

Third, about documentaries

Twenty key documentaries have been identified. Among them, the key documentary "The Main Battlefield in the East", which is supported by the special funds of the General Administration, will be completed in early August and broadcast on CCTV; the documentaries "Today in the History of the War of Resistance" and "The Great War of Resistance" have been broadcast one after another; documentaries such as "1937 Nanjing Memories", "The Pillar of the Middle Stream: The Great War of Resistance Behind Enemy Lines" and "Taierzhuang 1938" will be rebroadcast during the commemorative activities; most of the anti-Japanese war documentaries will be completed before the end of September and broadcast one after another.

Fourth, about TV cartoons

Three key TV cartoons have been identified. The General Administration supports several local TV stations in creating the "Anti-Japanese War Trilogy" - "Tunnel Warfare", "Chicken Feather Letter" and "Defense of Yuanzi Cliff", which will be broadcast successively from August. Among them, "Tunnel Warfare" and "Chicken Feather Letter" are adapted from traditional classic anti-Japanese war works, and "Defense of Yuanzi Cliff" is a new theme discovered by the crew during the field trip. Fifth, regarding publications

First, 100 book titles and 20 audio-visual and electronic publication titles have been determined. These titles include documentary archives, theoretical research works, popular readings, literary works and children's books. In September, publications on the theme of the war of resistance will form a boom.

Second, 100 excellent books on the theme of the War of Resistance Against Japan have been identified from the published books on the theme of the War of Resistance Against Japan, such as the children's book "Young Hero Wang Erxiao", the novels "Armed Workers Behind Enemy Lines", "Railway Guerrillas", "Fire King Kong", "Gunshots on the Plain", etc.; classic songs on the theme of the War of Resistance Against Japan created in various periods since the "September 18th" Incident have been selected, and "100 Classic Songs on the War of Resistance Against Japan" will be published soon; major online literature publishing websites have carried out a series of related theme publishing activities.
