CATDOLL: The author of "Nisekoi" is ill and will take a week off from publishing comics

Due to the author's illness, the manga "Nisekoi" will be on hiatus for a week; the 33rd issue of Shueisha's magazine "Weekly Shonen Jump" to be published next Monday will publish a letter from the editor to readers. In this letter to readers, the editorial department revealed that due to the sudden illness of the author Naoshi Komi, the campus love comedy manga "Nisekoi" will not be published in this issue of the magazine. For this reason, the editorial department apologizes to all readers who are looking forward to the new story of "Nisekoi".

In addition, the editorial department also mentioned that because the printing work had been arranged in advance, and Gu Wei's illness was too sudden, "Nisekoi" was still listed in this issue's popularity survey. The editorial department also apologized for this.

Finally, the editorial department confirmed that the comics will return in the 34th issue of the magazine, which will be published on July 18.

Nisekoi (Japanese: ニセコイ) is a school comedy manga written by Naoshi Komi. The manga began serialization in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump in issue 48 of 2011, with each episode titled "Episode ○". In May 2013, Shueisha announced that the work would be adapted into a television anime, which would be produced by SHAFT and aired in January 2014. In October 2014, it was announced that the second season of the anime would be produced.
