CATDOLL: One year left! The new animation of "Cardcaptor Sakura" will be broadcast in January 2018

Cardcaptor Sakura announced in early November that it would produce a new animation. Recently, the official information on the animation was released, which is expected to start in January 2018. Madhouse will be responsible for the production, and six voice actors have been announced: Tange Sakura, Hisakawa Aya, Iwao Junko, Kumai Tomoko, Ogata Megumi, and Seki Tomokazu. The director is Asaka Morio.

The original story tells about a fourth-grade elementary school student Sakura Kinomoto who accidentally opened a magic book hidden at home, accidentally causing the sealed Clow Cards in it to fly everywhere, causing a series of chaos. Later, after hard work and everyone's help, Sakura successfully collected all the cards and became the new owner of the cards.
