"Mermaid Hooked Again" was first serialized in the form of short stories in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine No. 8 to No. 12 in 2009, and it was serialized for a long time because of its popularity. This work is centered on the mermaid girl Muromi with a Hakata accent and the boy Mukaijima Takuro who often catches Muromi, describing the funny interactions between humans and legendary creatures.
