CATDOLL: Japan has opened a professional voice actor training course for primary and secondary school students in District 11!

Seiyuu (Japanese: 聲優, せいゆう) is the name for "actors who perform in the main voice", which is the name for voice actors in Japanese. "優" means "actor" or "performer" in Japanese.

Although many professional voice actors say that competition in Japan's voice acting industry is too fierce and only those with one in a million abilities can stand out, it still cannot stop a large number of aspiring young people from joining the voice acting career every year. The age at which voice actors enter the industry is also getting lower and lower, and those who enter the industry in high school can be considered seniors. Finally, today Japan has voice actor training courses specifically for primary and secondary school students. It turns out that a voice actor career must be started from an early age.

This newly established voice actor training course specifically for primary and secondary school students has a great background. It is an important part of the new voice actor project "Kids Voice Actor Training Project" planned by the famous agency ACE Voice Actor Agency, which is jointly participated by Kadokawa Group and AMuse, a famous training school in Japan. Veteran male voice actor Yu Mizushima will teach primary and secondary school students the basic skills of voice actors. This course will be offered for half a year from October 2015 to March 2016, with classes every Saturday. The purpose of this course is to discover "rough stones" with voice actor strength and polish them into materials, so as to provide excellent talents for the Japanese voice actor industry in the future.
