CATDOLL: "Shaman King" author Hiroyuki Takei releases new ink painting "Cat Doll"

Hiroyuki Takei, the author of Shaman King, will launch a new series, Nekohara (original name: Nekogahara), in the new magazine Shonen Magazine Edge (Kodansha) to be launched on September 17. This is the first time that Hiroyuki Takei has published a work in a Kodansha publication. And the work will be presented in the form of ink painting, what is going on?

"Nekohara" is a brand new work, a "fencing drama" about Chiyo, a stray cat abandoned by the world, who is determined to cut off ties with this unreasonable world. This work is scheduled to appear on the cover and the front color page of the first issue, which shows that Kodansha attaches great importance to it.

Now, a visual image of a painting using Japanese paper and ink has been released online. This style is really rare. I wonder what kind of work Hiroyuki Takei will bring? Fans who like him can look forward to it together.
