In the latest prequel "Wake Up, Girls! Youth Shadow" promotional image released this time, the members of "Wake Up, Girls!" are wearing formal performance clothes and running towards the brightly lit stage with enthusiastic smiles. The contrast between the shining stage and the somewhat dim backstage is in line with the atmosphere of the work title "Youth Shadow", and you can feel the hope and anxiety of the members standing on the big stage in Tokyo.

In addition, the pre-sale tickets for the first and second parts of the movie will be sold at the second tour of "Wake Up, Girls!" "I'm sorry to come and go (original name: Gotari Tarisute Gomenne)". Now, the design of the pre-sale tickets limited to the venue has been released. The pre-sale tickets are drawn in cute yukatas for the members to participate in the Sendai Tanabata event. The purchase bonus is scheduled to be a limited card of the "Wake Up, Girls!" voice actors (a total of 8 types).

"Wake Up, Girls!" is set in Sendai and tells the story of the youth growth of the members of a local idol group. The TV animation was broadcast from January to March 2014. It was directed by Yamamoto Kan, the supervisor of "Lucky Star" and "Kaminagi", and is a very topical work. The script was written by Touda Douko, the character design and general animation supervisor was Chikaoka Nao, the music was produced by Kamimae Akatsuki (MONACA), and the animation production company was Ordet. The voice actors who appeared in the show include Yoshioka Mayu, Nagano Airi, Tanaka Minami, Aoyama Yoshino, Yamashita Nanami, Okuno Kaya, Takagi Miyu, etc.
