CATDOLL: The ratings of the Japanese version of "Death Note" hit a new low

On August 3, the average ratings for the fifth episode of the Japanese drama version of Death Note were officially released, at 8.2%, a new low since its launch. The live-action version of Death Note attracted much attention before it was aired, and the bold changes in the settings attracted a lot of criticism from fans. The ratings of the first episode after the broadcast hit a new high, but then began to decline, and the fifth episode was even worse. It seems that no matter how much you try to shift the blame and create excitement, it won't work.

After the high ratings of the first episode (16.9%), it began to decline continuously, and the third episode even dropped to 8.7%. Although it was not until last week's fourth episode with 10.6% that it returned to double digits, as the saying goes, "there is no worst, only worse", and the latest fifth episode proved this saying true, with a plunge in ratings to only 8.2%, the lowest rating since its launch.
