CATDOLL: The stage play version of "Ghost in the Shell ARISE" releases the makeup photos of the heroine Kusanagi Motoko

The stage play "Ghost in the Shell ARISE: GHOST is ALIVE", adapted from the classic manga by Shirow Masamune, will be staged at the Tokyo Metropolitan Theater PLAY HOUSE from November 5 to 15. Now the main cast and the makeup photos of the heroine Kusanagi Motoko have finally been released. It is reported that Kusanagi Motoko will be played by actress Aono Kaede.

The main production lineup of the stage play version of "Ghost in the Shell ARISE" has been announced before. Okikata Cho will serve as the supervisor, Oku Hidetaro of the stage play "BLOOD-C ~The LAST MIND~" will be in charge of the performance, and Junichi Fujisaki of the animation "Ghost in the Shell STAND ALONE COMPLEX" will write the script.

The original work of "Ghost in the Shell" is a science fiction manga published by Shirow Masamune in 1989. It was later adapted into movies, TV animations, OVAs, etc., and has many fans all over the world. The four-part animated theatrical version of "Ghost in the Shell ARISE" released in Japan from 2013 to 2014 tells the story before the establishment of Ghost in the Shell.
