CATDOLL: "The Werewolf Code 1951" won the animation script award and will be animated next year

Recently, the comics app "Shonen Jump+" and the animation channel Animax jointly held the "Animation Script Award". "Rugacode 1951" written by Ryoto Hami emerged as the champion. In addition, the comics adapted from "Rugacode 1951" will be serialized on "Shonen Jump+" this year and will be animated by Animax in 2016.

The final review meeting of the Shonen Jump + × Animax Animation Script Award was held yesterday (September 7). The judges included Fujimaki Tadatoshi, the author of Kuroko's Basketball, Akira Xiaoyue, the author of The Strongest President Kurokami, and Kobayashi Jin, the author of School Rumble, the director of the animation Nodame Cantabile series Chiaki Kon, the screenwriter Yoshimi Narita, and the editor-in-chief of Weekly Shonen Jump Yoshihisa Ping. They jointly selected the champion work "The Werewolf Code 1951" from 1,758 entries.

The protagonist of "The Werewolf Code 1951" is a young university professor and language genius, Testa. Under the introduction of his senior, he entered an organization that deciphered the codes of the United Army and was commissioned to crack a certain code. That is the "Werewolf Code" used by their enemy, the "Werewolf". Testa was shocked when he learned the truth, because the Werewolf Code sounded like a wolf's howl. After desperately studying but still unable to crack the code, Testa decided to capture a Werewolf alive. In the end, he tried every possible way and finally captured a wolf girl named Yonaga alive.
