Recently, the official Twitter account of Japan's Weekly YOUNG JUMP manga magazine announced the good news that due to the influence of the animation, the sales of the manga "Himuko! Umaru-chan" have increased to 2 million copies in 5 volumes, with an average sales of 400,000 copies per volume, making it a hot-selling manga.

"Himaru-chan" is a manga created by Japanese artist Sunkaku Hedo. It was first published in Shueisha's Miracle Jump in 2012 No. 10 and 11 under the title "Himaru-chan!", and then moved to Weekly YOUNG JUMP in 2013 No. 15. The story is set in Hachioji City, Tokyo, and tells the story of the daily life comedy of the dried fish girl Umaru-chan, who is virtuous and noble outside, but immediately becomes a stay-at-home ACG lover when she returns home, and her brother who takes care of her life and her friends.
