The sequel to Yamamoto Hiroshi's idol animation "Wake Up, Girls!" is divided into two parts. The first part "Wake Up, Girls! Shadow of Youth" was officially released in Japan yesterday (September 25). At the same time, the second part "Wake Up, Girls! Beyond the Bottom" revealed detailed information such as theme map, release date, and plot.
The second part of the new theatrical version "Wake Up, Girls! Beyond the Bottom" will be released in Japan on December 11. The theme song "Beyond the Bottom" will be released on December 9. The theme picture shows the happy faces of the idols surrounded by light sticks, and the atmosphere is very touching. The slogan on the upper left is their motto: "Sincerity, integrity and hard work." The story of the latter part tells that "Wake Up, Girls!" came to Tokyo to participate in the idol festival. All activities went smoothly, but they lost their own characteristics in the ever-changing entertainment industry. "Wake Up, Girls!" was played in the hands of people related to the record company, but they did not give up, and finally moved the producer Hayasaka Aoi. Hayasaka Aoi gave them a new song "Girls' Symphony" as a weapon. Later, "Wake Up, Girls!" returned to their hometown of Sendai and continued to work hard through daily performances and national tours... Finally, the new song "The Goddess of Destiny (Original Name: The Goddess of Destiny)" by "I-1club", the rival of "Wake Up, Girls!" in the work, will be released on November 11. In order to echo the plot, this new song will also be released in two versions, S Team and M Team.
"Wake Up, Girls!" is set in Sendai and tells the story of the youth growth of the members of a local idol group. The TV animation was broadcast from January to March 2014. It was directed by Yamamoto Kan, the supervisor of "Lucky Star" and "Kaminagi", and is a very topical work. The script was written by Touda Douko, the character design and general animation supervisor was Chikaoka Nao, the music was produced by Kamizawa Akatsuki (MONACA), and the animation production company was Ordet.
