CATDOLL: Japanese media interprets the charm of "Ushio and Tora" and passionate battles are king

In recent years, comics from the 1990s have been remade into animated or live-action versions, and the July new anime "Ushio to Tora" is a very representative one. Recently, a Japanese media outlet has interpreted the charm of this work.

The original work of "Uo to Tora" is a battle-themed work serialized in "Weekly Shonen Sunday" by Fujita Kazuhiro in the 1990s. It tells the story of the protagonist Aotsuki Uo who was accidentally inspired by the beast spear to transform into an orc, and at the same time, he unlocked a monster named Ahu that had been sealed by the beast for 500 years, and thus embarked on the journey of conquering monsters. From the dramatic plot to the excitement of uncovering the mystery of the fate of the world, coupled with Fujita's passionate drawings, this comic has won a lot of praise and won the Nebula Award in 1997. Its influence is self-evident.

Nearly 20 years after the work was completed, the TV animation produced by the famous director Satoshi Nishimura has attracted a lot of attention again. In the animation, the production company MAPPA fully restored the style of Fujita's original work, and the voice actors' performances were also very wonderful, especially the voice of Yuu Hatanaka, who voiced Ushio, showing a vivid boy-like voice, making the hot-blooded boy's charm of the king of boys' comics fully revealed. I believe that even fans of the original work should be satisfied with the quality of the animation, right?

For this animation, the original author personally selected the plot and fully presented the fateful story of Ushio and Tora in 39 episodes. In addition, if you buy the DVD/Blu-ray of the whole volume, you can also get the character figures. I believe this work will keep the audience chasing until the end!
