This work tells the story between exorcists and demons (AKUMA) in Europe in the 19th century. The only power that can destroy the demon comes from an organization called "Black Cult". In this organization, there are "exorcists" chosen by the crystal of God "Holiness" (Innocence). The protagonist "Allen Walker" is a member of it. He uses his left hand, which is inhabited by holiness, as a weapon, and destroys the demon together with his companions. He fights against the Millennium Earl without hesitation, and strives to pursue the beautiful yearning and move forward.
