CATDOLL: "Dagashi Wars" anime voice actors announced Taketatsu Ayana and others

The TV anime adapted from the popular manga "DaGaShi Wars" will be broadcast on TBS and BS-TBS in January 2016. Recently, according to the information leaked by a magazine, the voice actors and theme song information of the anime were announced.

As for voice actors, the female lead "Eda Ritsu" with rich facial expressions will be voiced by Taketatsu Ayana, who has played roles such as Nakano Azusa in "K-ON!", Kousaka Kirino in "My Little Sister Can't Be This Cute", and Gokawa Kotori in "Date A Live"; and the male lead "Ku Shikata" will be voiced by Abe Atsushi, who has portrayed roles such as Kamijou Touma in "A Certain Magical Index", Sakakibara Tsuneichi in "Another", and Mashiro Koushou in "Dream Eaters". In addition, Fujiwara Keiji, Numakura Manami, and Suzuki Tatsuhisa will also join the work.

As for the theme song, the opening song "checkmate! ?" is sung by the 19-year-old singer "MICHI", who has sung the theme song "Cry for the Truth/Secret Sky" of the July new anime "Rikka no Brave"; the ending song is sung by the voice actor "Taketatsu Ayana" in the play, and the song is called "Hey! カロリーQueen".
