Yesterday (December 11), the "Little Biscuit and Apron Mom" ​​new book reading session and the "Little Biscuit" and "Apron Mom" ​​original image competition award ceremony were held in Beijing, and it is possible that we will see her in a cartoon within two days.

During this summer, Relay Press and the Baby Project Picture Book Art Education Institution jointly held the "Biscuit and Apron Mom Original Icon Collection Contest" for children aged 4 to 12 across the country. Over half a year, more than 1,000 "Biscuit and Apron Mom" ​​paintings created by children were collected, and finally 30 winning works of the Outstanding Creativity Award were selected.

But why would such a decision be made for such an old work? And what was the reason for the creation of "Biscuit"?

It turns out that Zheng Chunhua, the author of "Big Head Son and Small Head Father", was jealous of her daughter when she was 5 or 6 years old because she only wrote a lot of stories about her brother (Big Head Son) but not about her (the age difference between her daughter and brother is 16 years). So this became the opportunity for her to start writing a new work "Little Biscuit and Apron Mom".
