CATDOLL: The live-action movie of "Ajin" will be released on September 30, 2017

On August 26, 2016, it was announced that the filming of "Ajin" was announced, with Katsuyuki Motohiro as the director. On December 17, it was officially announced that the film would be released on September 30, 2017. The live-action film remake of "Ajin" changed the character setting from high school students to intern doctors, starring Takeru Sato.

"Ajin" is a manga serialized by Sakurai Gamon in Kodansha's "Good! Afternoon", with sales of more than 5.4 million copies. The "Ajin" played by Takeru Sato is a new type of human who will not die no matter how much damage he suffers. He was accidentally killed by a truck but resurrected, exposing his identity, and has since become the target of a high reward from the government.
