CATDOLL: "Kagerou Project" 4D short film to be released in early winter 2016

The cross-media work "Kagerou Project" led by Japanese musician and writer Jin has finally had a new project after a period of silence. Today (April 21), the official announced that it will produce a 4D short film version of "Kagerou Project". A promotional poster has been released and it has been confirmed that this work will be released in early winter 2016.

This work was released as a TV animation in 2014. The animation tells the story of a hapless high school student Shintaro Kisaragi who was locked up for some reason, but encountered a terrorist attack during an unexpected outing on August 14. He solved the incident with the cooperation of Ene, an electronic girl living in his mobile phone, and a group of members of the Mekakuro Group with strange "eye abilities". Later, he was inexplicably treated as a member of this group. This is an urban fantasy story. The animation is based on the "Kagero Project" suite, just like Jin's light novel "Kagero Vertigo", but the plot direction has become subtly different.
