CATDOLL: Nagano Mamoru's Five Star Stories manga volume 13 will be released on August 10

As a classic work, "Five Star Stories" has always been talked about by anime fans. However, 9 years have passed since the 12th volume was released in 2006, and there is still no subsequent single volume. However, the August 2015 issue of "NewType" magazine, which will be released soon, revealed that the 13th volume of "Five Star Stories" manga by Nagano Mamoru will be officially released on August 10.

"Five Star Stories" is a science fiction manga by Japanese manga artist Mamoru Nagano. It has been serialized in Kadokawa Shoten's monthly magazine "Newtype" since 1986, and was adapted into an animation in 1989. The manga is still being serialized nearly 30 years later. The feature of "Five Star Stories" is its huge world view, involving aspects such as politics, history, culture, faith, love, technology, etc. The narrative method is also different from ordinary novels and comics. All major events have been recorded one by one through a chronology in advance, and readers are like reading a history book. Among them, what is more appreciated is the author's high-level character design and mechanical settings. The characters and machines of "Five Star Stories" are often three-dimensional models.
