CATDOLL: Japanese cartoonist advises young people not to draw cartoons because reality is too cruel

Many anime fans have dreamed of becoming a cartoonist, right? But is this profession in reality as wonderful as our dreams? Now, a well-known cartoonist in Japan, Takashi Yamamoto, warned young people on his Twitter not to be desperate to become a cartoonist, but to study hard and find a job.

Yamamoto Takashi wrote on his Twitter: "I have seen many people who quit their jobs and aspire to become cartoonists. But from my own experience, cartoonists may have no income tomorrow, or even end up living on the streets tomorrow. In addition to these pressures, cartoonists have many other pressures. It is better to think carefully whether you really want to choose such a life with nothing." It seems that this senior is quite touched by those young people who do not understand the current situation and rush into the industry after watching some anime works. After all, the industry described in the works is only the beautiful side, and the real reality is definitely not that beautiful.
