CATDOLL: Liu Xiao Ling Tong becomes the art director of the domestic animated film "Fighting Buddha"

On New Year's Day 2016, the actor who plays the Monkey King, Liu Xiao Ling Tong, announced a new move: he will serve as the art director of the animated film series "Fighting Buddha" of Hangzhou Dawu Cultural and Creative Co., Ltd. This is the first time that Liu Xiao Ling Tong has participated in the production of an animated film, and it also means that a new domestic animated film about the Monkey King will be released soon.

The cooperation press conference was held at Madame Tussauds Beijing on Qianmen Street. Xu Dong, the chief director of the animated film "Fighting Buddha", said in an interview that Liu Xiao Ling Tong is an artistic master whom he has admired since childhood, and is the most recognized performing artist for the Monkey King Sun Wukong. He has been engaged in animation for more than 20 years and has always hoped to interpret the culture of Journey to the West with the unique film language of animation. As the artistic director, Liu Xiao Ling Tong said that his attitude towards the film and television adaptation of Journey to the West is "to be faithful to the original, but cautious in innovation".
