CATDOLL: TV Tokyo staff: "Osomatsu" may have more than two seasons

The popular anime "Osomatsu-kun" has become increasingly popular since its release and has been highly praised by fans. Recently, a staff member of the Tokyo TV Animation Division said in an interview: "We never said that "Osomatsu-kun" would end after two seasons."

Although the official has not said that it will end after two seasons, it is very likely that there will be more sequels. At present, "Osomatsu-chan" is equivalent to a national animation in Japan. Given its high popularity, I believe the official will not easily end the animation, but it is not ruled out that this is a mystery to everyone.

Takuyuki Hirobe of TV Tokyo's animation division said, "I'm surprised at how quickly this work has spread. The official Twitter account had 380,000 followers in the first season. We did want to do two seasons, but we never said, 'Osomatsu-kun is done with two seasons.'"

The TV animation "Osomatsu" is the third TV animation produced by Japanese Studio Pierrot to commemorate the 80th birthday of the original manga author Akatsuka Fujio. It was announced on July 6, 2015 that it would be adapted into an animation. This animation will tell the story of Osomatsu and others as they grow up. Recently, the official announcement was made that the animation will be postponed to a half-yearly schedule.
