CATDOLL: Kyoto Animation's classic animations "Hyouka" and "Spring and Summer Mystery Case Files" will be filmed as live-action movies

According to the annual plan released by Kadokawa Films recently, Kyoto Animation's animations "Hyouka" and "Spring and Summer Mystery Case Files" will both be filmed as live-action movies.

"Hyouka" is adapted from the "Classic Club Series" novel by Japanese mystery novelist Honobu Yonezawa. It tells the story of Oreki Houtarou, a high school student who lives by the motto of energy conservation and is dragged around by the curious Chitanda Eru to solve cases all day long. "Spring and Summer Mystery Case Files" is a work by Japanese novelist Haru Hatsuno. It tells the story of a pair of childhood sweethearts who pursue their musical dreams while solving cases through reasoning.
