CATDOLL: Hong Kong cartoonist jumps to death after being unemployed for six years

Recently, the Hong Kong media reported a very sad news that a Hong Kong cartoonist jumped to his death. According to the article, he had been unemployed for many years before that, and his career had not improved. He worked in other art design jobs and even worked as a short-term worker in a comic company in the north to make a living, but he has been unemployed in recent years. He finally chose to commit suicide by jumping off a building in his residence in Tai Po in the early morning. He had participated in works such as "Dragon Tiger Gate" and "God King", which also indirectly reflects some problems in the current Hong Kong comics industry.

This cartoonist had worked as an assistant in a publishing house in the early 1990s. He had also participated in the drawing work of the comic book "God King". Later, he worked as a painter for Wong Yuk-long's comic book "Dragon Tiger Gate". Unfortunately, he did not make any achievements afterwards. Later, he came to Shenzhen to work, but his career was still not going well. He was unemployed for the next 5 or 6 years. He must have been unable to bear the pressure, so he chose to commit suicide.
