CATDOLL: "BanG Dream!" Anime Episode 1 Advance Picture Girl Falls Into Idol Trap

The preview image and text information of the first episode of the new January anime "BanG Dream!" have been released. As an idol animation, this work starts with the heroine's admiration for idols and tells the story of her and her companions forming a group.

Since she was a child, Kasumi Toyama has been inspired by the song "The Thrill of the Stars", which gave birth to her dream of becoming a shining idol. On the first day of high school, Kasumi accidentally came to an old pawnshop, where she encountered a star-shaped guitar among many collections.

The first time she saw the star-shaped guitar, Kasumi was filled with a beating heart, and she finally decided to officially embark on the road of music. However, now various idol groups are emerging like mushrooms after rain. Can Kasumi successfully stand out and become one of the most shining stars?

"BanG Dream!" is a Japanese TV animation adapted from the next-generation girl band project of the same name, which will be broadcasted in January 2017. This work is a joint project of two-dimensional and three-dimensional music idol projects, and the group members grow together with the fans. The two-dimensional group includes five members: Toyama Kasumi (CV Aimi), Ichigaya Yusaki (CV Ito Ayaza), Ushio Satomi (CV Nishimoto Satomi), Hanazono Sae (CV Otsuka Sae) and Yamabuki Saya (CV Ohashi Ayaka).
