The first episode and plot synopsis of the new anime "Your Lie in April" which premiered late at night on October 9th were released on the official website of the anime. "Your Lie in April" is a manga drawn by Japanese manga artist Naoshi Shinkawa. It was serialized in the May issue of "Monthly Shonen Magazine" in 2011, and 8 volumes of single-volume books were released by January 2014. It won the Kodansha Manga Award in the Shonen category in 2013. In addition, the original manga "Your Lie in April" will be completed in the spring of 2015, so the TV anime will be a half-year series, and will be completed at the end of March 2015 together with the manga. The story broadcast in the TV anime will also be the entire content of the manga.

Synopsis

Kousei Arima's mother wanted to train him to be a world-famous pianist, and he lived up to her expectations, winning many piano competitions while in elementary school. In the autumn when he was 11, his mother passed away, and he could no longer hear the sound of his piano playing. He was so frustrated that he had to give up playing. But when he was 14, he met the violinist Kaori Miyazono through his childhood playmates, and was attracted by her free and unrestrained style. Unexpectedly, Kaori invited Kousei to be her accompanist in the competition...

Episode 1 Synopsis

In the autumn when he was 11 years old, Kousei, who was known as a genius pianist, suddenly couldn't play the piano because of his mother's death. Since then, his time has stopped. Tsubaki, Kousei's childhood sweetheart, is worried about Kousei and invites him to a double date. Kousei's other childhood sweetheart, Watari Ryota, has met a girl. Although he is not very happy, Kousei still goes to the meeting place. There he sees the girl playing the piano barefoot. Kousei can't help but take a picture of this beautiful scene, and the girl who misunderstands Kousei as a sneak photographer beats Kousei. That's how he met Miyazono Kaoru.
