| The new October anime "Smile to the Cloudy Day" is still being broadcast on the website. It has a good momentum and is likely to carve out a path among various second seasons and blockbusters. Now, it is announced that the Blu-ray Disc BOX and DVD BOX of "Smile to the Cloudy Day" will be released next year. The first volume contains episodes 1 to 6 and will be released on January 21, 2015; the second volume contains episodes 7 to 12 and will be released on March 25. Pre-orders are now available. The outer covers of the first and second volumes will be made with new pictures by the original author Tang Tangyan. In addition, the BOX also contains a booklet containing the animation script, and a bonus CD containing character songs and original music. The setting of "Smile at the Cloudy Day" is set in the Meiji era, telling the adventure story of the three brothers of the Jinja Tan family who serve as ferrymen for a prison in the center of Lake Biwa. The TV animation version is directed by Hiroshi Haraguchi, the series composition is written by Yuya Takahashi, the character setting is scheduled to be done by Takao Maki, and the animation production company is Animation Workshop. The voice actors who starred in the show include Yuichi Nakamura, Yuki Kaji, and Tsubasa Shironaga. |
