Recently, Oyama Tsuyoshi, who once voiced the character of Maori Kogoro in "Detective Conan", also expressed his thoughts. He also hopes to have freedom of expression and freedom of speech. He hates authoritarianism. What is it like?

How is everyone? After the stage performance, I was able to devote myself to work more energetically. Yes, after the performance at the Kinokuniya Building, I went to a school building for another performance.

The students were watching the stage performance intently, and I performed well despite my nervousness. I was filled with emotion!!

In fact, after watching a TV program, I suddenly realized that life is very important.

It was an evening news program, and an active Self-Defense Force officer said in an interview: "The so-called protection of life and livelihood and working hard are just nice words. The government should tell the truth. If we lose our lives, how can we ensure our livelihood? How can we protect our families, such as wives and children?" He also hoped that he could say these words in Congress.

I thought of other things.

I once met a member of the Self-Defense Forces at a consultation meeting. He said with great emotion: "After watching this work, foreigners think that Japan is a great country and want to visit Japan. The reason why this can be achieved is that Japan has maintained the greatest restraint." His words won applause from the whole room that day.

Don't make enemies, protect democracy, and protect the law. Negotiate on the basis of respecting each other. This is what we should do. Random speculation without any basis will not lead to consensus, nor will it gain the understanding and recognition of the other party. And thinking about the question of "whether the approach is correct" is not something to watch from the sidelines, but a focus that each of us must pay attention to.

Actor Bunta Sugawara once said, "Those who speak fearlessly often speak from a position of absolute safety." I agree with this. If you really want to impose your awareness on others, you should be the first to rush out, just like the president in the movie "Independence Day." This is true fearlessness.

I hope there is freedom of expression and freedom of speech. I hate authoritarianism. If you attack anyone who opposes you, then you will not be truly trusted. I hope those people can listen to other people's opinions and read more reviews.
