CATDOLL: "Food Wars! Soma" reveals some of the staff and cast, Matsuoka Yoshitsugu plays Yukihira

Previously announced to be adapted into a TV animation in 2015, Shokugeki no Soma has released the list of the main creative team for the work. It is reported that Yoshitsugu Yonetani, who directed the popular animation "Brave King" in 1997, will be the supervisor of this animation; Shogo Yasukawa, who has participated in the production of animations such as "Hyperdimension Neptunia" and "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure", will be responsible for the series composition; and composer Tatsuya Kato, who has been responsible for the soundtracks of TV animations such as "Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere" and "Future Diary", will be in charge of music creation. In addition, JCSTAFF, which has produced popular animations such as "Shakugan no Shana" and "Nodame Cantabile", will be responsible for the production of this animation. In the information released at the same time, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, who has created characters such as Kazuto Kiritani in "Sword Art Online" and Kanda Kanda in "The Pet Girl of Sakurasou", has confirmed that he will voice the male protagonist Soma Yukihira in this work.

Shokugeki no Soma is a food-themed manga written by Yuto Tsukuda and illustrated by Shun Saeki. It was ranked third in the "2014 Recommended Manga Works Selected by All Japanese Bookstore Clerks". The 10th volume of the manga will be published on November 4. The manga tells the story of the protagonist Soma Yukihira, who, after graduating from junior high school, wants to inherit the family business "Yukihira Restaurant" and comes to a famous culinary school "Totsuki Gakuen" in Tokyo as a special transfer student due to his father's instructions.
