"THE ROLLING GIRLS" is an original animation produced by the animation company WIT STUDIO. The TV animation will start broadcasting in January 2015.

The story is set ten years after the end of the "Tokyo Battle", and the regions of Japan have become independent countries. A girl named Moritomo Mochi, who works for the Self-Defense Force and has average grades, suddenly decides to travel across the Japanese archipelago.

Along the way, she met Hibiki, Chiya Misono, Kina Kosaka and others. These four girls will shoulder the mission of protecting peace. And waiting for them on the journey are magicians, monsters and giant robots!? A new feeling of road youth story intertwined by these four girls is about to be staged!
