CATDOLL: Luffy's actor revealed? One Piece live-action Kabuki will be staged next year

At the Jump Festa 2015 "Jump Super Stage" event held yesterday, it was announced that "One Piece" will be adapted into Kabuki. It is unknown what the result will be of this fusion of the world-class popular manga "One Piece" and the traditional Japanese culture Kabuki.

The fourth-generation actor Ichikawa Sarunosuke will star in this new play, which will be performed at the Shinbashi Enbujo in Tokyo in October and November 2015.

"Super Kabuki" was created by the third generation Ichikawa Sarunosuke in 1980. Unlike traditional Kabuki, "Super Kabuki" combines Kabuki with modern performances. "Super Kabuki II" is a form of innovation created by the fourth generation Ichikawa Sarunosuke based on the third generation.

The official name and cast of this work have not been announced yet, and the specific information is expected to be announced in spring 2015.
