CATDOLL: Realistic Gundam! The robot priced at 120 million yen was sold out in seconds on Amazon Japan

The rideable robot "KURATAS" (Chinese name: Kurata Robot), produced by Japan's Suidobashi Heavy Industries and jokingly called the real-life version of Gundam, was put on sale again on Amazon Japan yesterday after being out of stock for a long time. "KURATAS" is a giant robot that can be used for simple operations and also made a cameo appearance in the live-action movie adapted from the famous manga "Mobile Police Patlabor".

The manufacturer, Suidobashi Heavy Industries, listed it on Amazon Japan under the "toy" category. It is also the most expensive product on Amazon Japan. This "KURATAS" priced at 120 million yen was shown as having one unit in stock on Amazon yesterday, which immediately attracted a lot of discussion. It was bought by a buyer just a few hours later. However, it is still unknown whether Suidobashi Heavy Industries canceled the sale itself or a rich man really bought it.

The engine-driven humanoid four-legged giant toy robot "KURATAS" weighs about 5 tons and is 3.8 meters long. Unlike ordinary ride-on toys, its safety and comfort are not guaranteed, but the man's long-cherished wish of "becoming a robot driver" can finally be realized to a certain extent. Although only the super rich can enjoy this high-end toy, it is obvious that humans are getting closer to their dreams step by step. Maybe one day, this kind of ride-on robot will really be everywhere in the streets...

KURATAS Introduction:

The heavy robot Kuratas is worth more than one million US dollars and was exhibited at the National Museum of Japan in early December 2012. The robot is 4 meters tall and weighs 4 tons. It can be equipped with weapon systems such as rocket launchers and can be remotely controlled through the Internet or by an operator sitting in the cockpit.

A Japanese electronics company has recently developed a 3.9-meter (13-foot) tall super robot[1] that can be controlled by an iPhone. The operator can fire bullets with just a smile. When operating the robot, the operator should not joke on the phone, as this can easily cause the robot to fire bullets. This robot was developed by Suidobashi Heavy Industries in Tokyo, Japan, and it will be a "militant" that shoots indiscriminately.

The robot is called "Kuratas" and is a giant robot with a length of 3.8 meters, which was made by the robot enthusiast group "Suidobashi Heavy Industries". After the development of the robot is completed, Suidobashi Heavy Industries plans to sell the robot worldwide. Kogoro Kurata, one of the production staff, described it as a "humanoid four-legged engine-driven land combat weapon robot."
