According to Japanese media reports, on January 8, Japanese police arrested a 45-year-old male suspect named Matsumoto Sho. The reason for the arrest was that he privately produced a large number of unauthorized animation cards in Akihabara for the purpose of selling them.

The police found more than 1,000 cards from well-known anime works such as "EVA", "Haruhi Suzumiya", "Danganronpa", and "A Certain Scientific Railgun" on him. According to the police investigation, this person has illegally earned 2 million yen by selling pirated peripherals in three years.
