Today, veteran voice actress Junko Iwao announced on the official website that she will take a month off due to severe bronchitis. Junko Iwao has been suffering from bronchitis for a long time. This time her condition worsened and she couldn't even speak normally. She needs to receive treatment and rest, so Junko Iwao will not participate in any activities from February to March.

Junko Iwao is best known for her role as Sakura's friend Tomoyo Daidoji in Cardcaptor Sakura, Momoo Kotori in X, and Yukishiro Tomoe in Rurouni Kenshin: Memories. In recent years, Junko Iwao has voiced characters such as Madoka's homeroom teacher and Rikka's mother in Chuunibyou.
