CATDOLL: "High School D×D" Season 3 will premiere in April 2015 PV released

The TV animation series High School D×D, which announced the production of its third season in June this year, has released a lot of new information on its official website. It is reported that the third season of the TV animation will begin airing in April 2015, titled "High School D×D BorN". A new PV for the third season was also released.

In terms of staff, the main production staff such as supervisors and series composition managers remain the same. However, there are changes in art supervisors, color designers, and editors. In addition, an assistant supervisor, Hideki Okamoto, has been added this season.

On the CAST side, Yuki Kaji and Yoko Hikasa are still the lead actors, and Akemi Asakura, Shizuka Ito, Ayana Taketatsu, Kenji Nojima, Risa Taneda, Maaya Uchida, Ayane Sakura, Rikiya Koyama, and Ryouta Oosaka will also continue to participate in the dubbing of the new work.

"High School D×D" is a light novel written by Ichiro Ishita. As a work that combines elements such as fighting, harem, and fantasy, the story mainly tells the story of Issei Hyoudou, a second-year high school student who has no girlfriend. One day, a beautiful girl who claims to be Yuma Amano confesses her love to him, but is killed during the subsequent date. It turns out that the girl who claims to be Yuma Amano is a fallen angel sent by a mysterious organization to kill Issei Hyoudou in order to destroy the powerful artifact that resides in him. However, the dead Issei is turned into a demon by the school's most beautiful girl, Rias Gremory, and becomes her servant. In this way, a school love comedy officially begins.

The book was published by Fujimi Fantasia Bunko, and 19 volumes have been released so far. The first season of the TV animation was broadcast from January to March 2012, and the second season was broadcast from July to September of the same year. Both seasons have 12 episodes. In addition, the unbroadcast episodes of the first season (episodes 13 and 14) are included in the limited edition BD of the original novel volumes 13 and 15 respectively.
