CATDOLL: Nana Mizuki and Miyuki Sawashiro join the new April series "Blood Blockade Battlefront"

The new April anime Blood Blockade Battlefront announced the addition of new characters and voice actors today. Nana Mizuki, who has created classic characters such as Hinata Hyuga in Naruto and Fate Testrosa in Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, will play Leonard's sister Michelle Wach in the play; and the father and daughter who run a small shop at the border of the other world and the real world - the cheerful Vivian and the taciturn shop owner will be voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro and Takumi Kagami respectively.

Blood Blockade Battlefront is a manga created by Yasuhiro Naito. The work was first published in the June 2008 issue of Jump Square, a publication of Shueisha. It was later renamed Blood Blockade Battlefront -Makai Kaisha- in the February 2009 issue of the magazine and serialized in the April issue. The work was republished in the second issue of Jump Square Masterpiece published in October of the same year, and continued to be serialized in the supplement Jump SQ.19 in the first issue of 2010. The work revolves around New York, which has become the intersection of the other world and the human world. In this place locked by smog, a dangerous balance of power is emerging between many forces and races. The "secret society LIBRA" led by Klaus challenges various difficult events in order to protect this balance that may be broken at any time.
